Illustration Evolution

This week I returned to a stand I first illustrated in 2019 (Highbury North Bank Terrace), and enjoyed seeing how much my illustration style and technique has evolved in the last 7 years.

It’s a concern that the rise of the use of AI could stop young artists & illustrators putting in the hours to hone their craft. (Rest assured, I’ll never use AI in any part of my illustration process).

It’s hard to know how much of a threat AI will be to self-employed illustrators like myself - I’m hopeful that there will always be a demand for work produced by actual people.

Just taking the time to read this newsletter is a show of support which is much appreciated, as is any work that you share online - that can make more of difference than a lot of people realise.
